The original soundtrack of Alexandria (2005). The lyrics of the song only consist of four lines, but the music is damn too good to be ignored.

The latest music video of Peterpan, Cobalah Mengerti, taken from the album Hari Yang Cerah. This would be their last clip from that particular album as they are preparing for their next album due around July or August 2008. I can’t wait to hear their new sounds.
Thanks to Peterpan’s official site for the video and bulumerahmaniac for the youtube link : http://au.youtube.com/watch?v=yZnK_EfmWbY

This song is one of my all time favorite songs from Peterpan. I put the original music video in one of my first posts. But this time it’s different, because this one has english subtitles in it, hats off to revknapp for his good job.
Note : For another version of the english translation for this song, check out the lyrics category in this website.

Released as the OST of Alexandria, this song is the first track of Peterpan’s third album, Menunggu Pagi : OST of Alexandria. My friend revknapp is kind enough to make the English subtitle for this vid. The youtube page can be found here : http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=R1HE92DUuCg
and one of their live shows performing the song :
BTW, there is a Hindi version of this song, titled “Kya Muje Pyaar Hai”, a soundtrack of Bollywood movie Woh Lamhe. But definitely Peterpan is the original one.

The third album of Peterpan is the Original Sound Track of Alexandria, released in September 2005. The launching of the album was covered live by Indonesian 6 national TV channels. The album consists of 5 new songs and some Peterpan’s old tracks from previous album with different music arrangements.
The List of the songs :

This is one of my favourite songs from Peterpan. I know it’s also the fave song of some of you. My fellow youtuber, revknapp has kindly upload the video of this song with English subtitle here : http://au.youtube.com/watch?v=QyafyFWVW-s
Hope you guys enjoy this :

Oke, this is a special request from my fellow youtuber, Jamal, a new Sahabat Peterpan (welcome to the club, bro). He uploaded this vid in his youtube channel (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rClIQLA6xsU) and he wants me to put it in this blog.
This is the Hindi adaptation of Peterpan’s song “Di Belakangku”. It’s called Aao Milo Chale, featured in the Bollywood blockbuster movie Jab We Met. So, everyone please welcome Jamal singing the Hindi version of Di Belakangku.
After Jamal, now it’s Rizwan time to sing the song. This time it’s in the original Indonesian version. Hats off to your effort to memorize the lyrics and almost perfect pronunciation. The youtube channel for this video is here : http://au.youtube.com/watch?v=b2Cb4KmgGho

This song is from their fourth album, Hari Yang Cerah, their first album after the two members, Andika and Indra got fired. I guess the lyrics reflect what the four remaining members feel during those hard times when people talk about their breaking up with the other two members.
MELAWAN DUNIA
Kita adalah hati yang tertindas
Kitalah langkah yang berhenti berjalan
Kitalah mimpi yang tak terwujudkan
Senandungkan nada-nada yang hilang
Kita memahami yang sesungguhnya
Dan tak harus menjelaskan semua
Tanpa pedulikan kata mereka
Kita berjalan melawan dunia
Hanya bisa bicara
Mereka tak beri jawaban
Tak perlu dengar kata mereka
Teruslah berjalan
Tak perlu dengar kata mereka
Teruslah berjalan
Translation
AGAINTS THE WORLD
We are the suppressed hearts
We are the steps that stop walking
We are the dreams that never come true
We sing the lost melodies
We understand what really happened
And we don’t have to explain everything to them
We don’t care what they say
We will keep moving on, walking against the world
(They) can only talk
(But) they don’t give us answer
We don’t have to hear what they say
We’ll keep moving on
We don’t need to hear what they say
We’ll keep moving on.

This time I post two versions of the same vid for particular reason. The first vid is the original one, uploaded in youtube by the Director himself (thus got the best quality picture). I think the vid has brilliant concept in translating the lyrics of the song to pictures. Here is the youtube link :

The second one I post because it has english subtitle, thanks to my friend revknapp (salute to your effort, bro). Here is the youtube link for this version : http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=F4Csn7fe7zQ&feature=related
